A few of my favorite things.

Vintage Necklace Choker Style - Art Deco:
approx: 1920-30s. This is a lovely vintage art deco choker. It has a moon glow appearance. The center stone is a deep bronze glass with flanking pear cut stones in dark amber brown.

The two largest pearcut stones have an opalescent look with flakes of gold in them. Peridot green and and citrus gold stones make up the rest of the pieces with more pearcut amber brown stones.

A heavy and well made piece of fine costume jewelry with a beautiful fire.

A real showstopping piece.

Very Rare:

Antique,coin silver,Persian Love/Wedding necklace.

Circ late 1700 to early 1800s.

Possibly one of a kind.

Made from coin silver, hand painted in enamels.

Features story of the bride on one side and groom on the other in thier single life as they come together and start a family in the center.

Workmanship The domed surfaces are all in raised relief that were reverse hand tooled with tiny instruments, then the top is covered in a shell like surface which has the appearance of golden mother of pearl and then hand painted with a tiny brush of 2-3 camel hairs.

Amazing rare piece purchased in a Paris antique shop in 1920s. Much more in depth than the later Persian painted enamel pieces of the 1930s and later.

Painted features include man and wife, camel, Arabian stallions (which signify prosperity) as well as dancing and tending the land, alot of flora & fauna with piece d resistance of a swaddled baby.
Awesome heirloom piece.
Has minor tiny losses of paint here and there, three connector rings were replaced and the silver has not been cleaned since I have owned it (due to my interest in keeping its patina).
Comes with museum quality tarnish protection bag.

Saxophone- Artworks By Tiziano Galli Of Italy

Here is a large heavy piece circa 1960-70 by Tiziano Galli who died in the early 1980s.

His pieces have no compare in my book in fact the famous curls have been dubbed Galli curls by other artists.

This large double subject piece is 10.50 inches tall by 8 inches wide by 4.50 inches deep. This piece is incrediably detailed and quite heavy. Each piece he made was a small edition piece and each one was unique because of the incredable amount of handwork involved.

This one is in excellent condition with professional sculpturing repair to several flowers and 2 curl tips. The only flaw I see is some gold loss on the small gild edge as shown by arrow. I have shown in every lighting and angle.

Impressive beautiful subject.

Tiziano Brother Amici (aprox 8" x 6")

This is a gorgeous and extremely detailed piece by Tiziano Galli of Italy.

I adore this work, from the delicate curls to the deeply sculptured faces and clothing.

Look at the incredulous detail to the clothing..the rips, buttons, patches and wrinkles all so 3 dimensional. Two birds perch on the fence which has all the roughness plus of a real old wood fence. The basket of tulips and the vivid painting make this a very special piece.

Molded and then hand sculptured no two would ever be alike.

Galli a wonderful scupltore of capodimonte will not make any more - what is available is all there is. Very collectable some pieces being only one of kind.

Condition: There is a very small repair to the bird wing (just the glueing of it back on at the natural seam and a small line or divit in the gold gild on the edge which was done during the painting or firing process and not a time or condition defect.

Artwork by Tiziano Galli - Mexico.

This fabulous little piece is in mint condition with all his little curls, fingers and toes intact. He has no repair and is signed of course T Galli.

This little gaucho sits 7 inches tall by 5.50 wide and 5.50 deep. He is fabulous from his blushing fingers to his pant leg fringe.

As you can see he is pied piper to the birds and they enjoy his music as much as I love the view of this quaint lovely scene.

If you have not enjoyed a Galli piece you are truly missing out.

He did not distribute in the USA as he passed away prior to the capodimonte export which became so prevalent in the 90s. His pieces are all there are and are on par in every way with Cappe, Borsato, and Merli. His style was actually copied by many of these artists.

His pieces are quickly being recognized today as some of the finest detailed most delicate capodimponte.

Tiziano Galli of Italy The Mason

I call this handsome cherubic boy "throwing in the trowel" because he looks to be holding an oversized bowl of cement and a towel with a trowel tossed carelessly on the ground, along with a book open to a page. He has his scruffy mutt (woebegotten woofer) by his side and the most adorable Galli signature curls. His face is beautifully molded and he holds a mixing ladel.

The detail is incredable with realisitic tiny shoe laces and belt loops. (see all pics)

He has repair to one curl and a couple fingertips under the towel. Also some tiny factory firing lines around the tiny piercing holes in the base. These common lines do not detract from value they were not considered by Tiziano a reason not to hand sculpt the finishing pieces , paint and fire this fellow. This is not my original piece came from a collector but is signed T Galli.

Art Nouveau Large bisque vase urn Fabulous!

This weighs 5.50 pounds or pure fine bisque circa 1930-50.

This drop - dead - gorgeous fluted vase or urn is flanked by two large Putti(cherubs)and vines with delicate flowers.

The colors are gorgeous jeweled shades from deepest purple to bright rust with greens and blues.

The vase itself is a peridot green with deeper burgandy purple near the top. This is in mint condition with only one factory flaw a kiln rub on the front (where coals from the kiln touched against the delicate bisque in the firing stage). It was minor enough the factory let it go through and they painted over it with the gold highlights so is barley visable and part of its history.

There are a very few minor I think two pepper spot on the cherubim

Rare Rare Rare and a wonderful statement piece.

Gorgeous Art Deco Vase 1920-30s

This is a beautiful heavy piece over 3 pounds and is 10 inches high by 8 wide and 8 deep.

This lovely tricorner piece with a delightful putti holding onto a turkey. beautiful detailed with the turkey feathers formed into the vase, encrusted with tiny flowers. The gold is full I see no defect, looked like the puple flower is missing part of a petal but on close inspection it is curled under. Absolutly stunning piece of art.

SUBLIME!!

Cherubic.
Ultra rare Louise Kley French sculptor, aprox 1900 Fauvism - Automne (Autumn)

This is my favorite piece ever. Made in the late 1800-early 1900s by Louis Kley the French Scupltore.

He worked independantly and also did pieces for Sevres and other high end bisque companies before finding his niche as a Bronze scuptore.

His pieces are few and far between especially in bisque.

This is a heavy thick bisque piece cast in approx 5 to 6 piece mold and stamped L.KLEY with his own stamp. She is quite large and heavy at 8 inches tall by 5.50 wide. That does not seem impressive on paper but when you hold her and look at her she is impressive. She commands attention with extreme white pressed bisque like the fine French Bru doll.

Her intaglio eyes with thier rays, shadows, and highlights, her polychromed vineage and fruits draping through her hair and onto her brow is the epitome of the Fauvism movement.

She is simply splendid.

Condition: She has no cracks or chips, rubs or defectual notes.

She must have had a base of some sort at one time though she displays perfectly well without one. She has a few pale grey flecks in the bisque they are part of the natural bisque clay used.
